I'm getting this same "swift-container-sync does not exist" error.
I tried to apt-get this newer version of swift and am getting the following error:

# apt-get install swift=1.4.4~20111108.1612-0ubuntu1
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Version '1.4.4~20111108.1612-0ubuntu1' for 'swift' was not found

What's the right command format and version to pull?
