From the issue description, it shows the caller can't flush the reading socket used by rootwrap-daemon when caller has exception. A Test case in oslo.rootwrap is helpful to reproduce the issue. then we can try to fix it rootwrap by providing a way to flush data or document how to avoid the issues.
