Comment 9 for bug 786959

Hi Borut,

When you open "File -> Open Remote File", there is the path of a jpip
server. You can change this value, it is not constant. But every time
you open the dialog, it will be reseted to the default value. This
default value can be specified at "Options -> Preferences -> Defaults
- Default remote path". This value does nothing else than changing the
default path in "File -> Open Remote File"

Of course you can run a jpip server without a http server. But when the
jp2-archive is accessible via http, JHelioviewer is able to present a
list of all directories and jp2-files on the server, so that you can
select one from the list. If no corresponding http path is given, you
have to specify the path of the image directly by typing its path to the
input box.
