@Brenda: Your issue is probably unrelated to this report.

However we had a similar report in bug #1659172 (independent of extensions). Can you reproduce the issue with Inkscape not closing properly consistently?

This could obviously have many ugly side-effects and I'd really like to figure out what's causing it...
