Got it, too, yesterday on pre5 on Linux Mint 18, when selecting multiple mesh nodes with the fill and stroke dialog open. It didn't happen every time, though, but at least every 4th time.
I can confirm Duarte's findings:
There is one additional slider at the bottom, which doesn't do anything.
And the slider at the top doesn't show the correct color scale, but otherwise works correctly.
