Comment 15 for bug 45719

This would be a great feature to have added to the next version of bzr. I just ran into the need for it myself, because I am trying to hunt down a bug in a near-unmaintainable code base, and using "update -r REV_I_THINK_DID_NOT_HAVE_BUG" would be very useful to try to isolate it, find the change that broke it, and fix it. What was wrong with the patch above, exactly?

@Miguel: They are not dupes because this is for update and bug 183559 is for switch. Unless they use the same code, that is, which I haven't looked into.
