Bug Description

easytag 2.1.7 is now available in debian unstable
it includes a patch to fix bug 883019

upstream changelog:
    * Gaute Amundsen's ConfirmWhenUnsavedFiles.patch
    * Mark Ferry's albumartist patch for ogg and flac
    * Götz Waschk's update for German translation
    * Kip's optimized base64 decoder for album art
    * Updated contributor credits
    * Debianized
    * Updated version to 2.1.7

only the first three are new compared to the git snapshot already available in precise
all are useful very minor patches which should not introduce regressions

debian changelog:
  * New upstream release.
  * Add fix_segfault_loading_tags_from_txt.patch:
    - From upstream git, fixes crashes when applying tags loaded from TXT file.
      (Closes: #646978)
  * debian/control:
    - Update Standards-Version to 3.9.3.
  * debian/rules:
    - Remove get-orig-source, now using an unmodified upstream tarball.

Please test if this builds/installs on precise. Can you give this some testing with standard tasks (editing tags, editing multiple tags, and renaming files)?

I tested all those things with mp3, ogg and wma files + a few more features I usually use

I forgot to mention, I tested the quite simple merge from debian I did locally not the pristine debian package.

      - Add easytag-aac transitional package.
    + debian/install:
      - Install upstream files to easytag binary package.

      - Do not fail on deleting ChangeLog file if it doesn't exist.
