Don't use "sudo" to run epoptes.
Either run it with plain "epoptes", or from the Gnome or other DE menu.

It shouldn't crash though, so marking as Confirmed...

I can no longer reproduce this with `sudo epoptes` or with `ssh -X root@localhost epoptes` with the latest version, so marking as fix released...

This is also affecting my setup while trying to launch epoptes using X11 forwarding (ssh -X)
