If you install testdrive-gtk in Kubuntu clicking on the Create USB Disk button only gives an error that usb creator can't be started. Unluckily usb creator has the Interface in the command name, and usb-creator-gtk isn't installed in Kubuntu, usb-creator-kde is.
So either:
- check which one is installed and use that, or
- depend on/recommend usb-cretor-gtk, or
- reassign this to usb creator so that provides an interface-independent command to launch it.
