HUD is sending 2 menu signals instead of 1

Bug Description

Steps:
1. open gedit
2. type "1 2" into gedit
3. hit alt to bring up the HUD
4. type "un" and enter to execute undo
Result:
the 1 and the 2 disappear, though they are 2 different entires in the undo stack
this is demonstratable by using the menu directly
this is effecting other applications as well

Thanks, that seems an unity bug, the hud-gtk test program doesn't have that issue, Ryan said he would have a look though

This only affects me when selecting choices in the HUD with the keyboard by pressing "Enter", when selecting with the mouse it works fine

Not sure if it's relevant, but I upgraded to 12.04 beta 1 from a fairly fresh installation of 11.10

As well as opening multiple tabs in Chrome and Nautilus (when searching for 'tab') I've also seen it executing different commands, for example:

1. open gedit
2. press 'alt' to open HUD
3. type 'pref'
4. use key down to select 'Edit > Preferences' and press 'Enter'

This opens the 'Preferences' dialog as well as 'Print Preview' (which is the first choice I get for 'pref' in the HUD). If I do the same, but write 'preferences' instead it works as expected.
