Wireless connections in network-manager-applet not editable -- "No agents were available for this request"

Bug Description
Right-click on the network manager applet --> edit connections
On the tab wireless is the current network shown, I'd like to connect. In order to do so, I need to edit the connection.
If I click on edit, the following "error" appears as a dialog:
