Fails to install: preinst failure

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

At the time , I was upgrading distro itself
Process stopped with warning , same error as mentioned above

No diversion 'diversion of /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf to /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf.diverted by mythbuntu-default-settings', none removed.
rm: cannot remove `/etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/mythbuntu-lightdm-theme_1.0_all.deb (--unpack):
 subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 1
No apport report written because MaxReports is reached already

 /var/cache/apt/archives/mythbuntu-lightdm-theme_1.0_all.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
A package failed to install. Trying to recover:

I did a 'sudo touch /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf' - this fixed the error and thus did the upgrade ok

Note: This error completely stopped my upgrade to 12.04 - I had to do an apt-get dist-upgrade after this as well

This bug was fixed in the package mythbuntu-lightdm-theme - 1.01

Sorry for the delay in fixing this. The ~mythbuntu-bugs team wasn't subscribed to this package so this was entirely missed.
