Bug Description

SRU case

1. If you press the super key from a lens view, the dash will start fading out, but before it does, it changes the view back to home view, which causes a flicker.
2. After installing unity from precise-proposed the issue won't happen

Hi

Just as a note, on my machine if you press Esc rather then the Super key to hide the dash, the flicker doesn't seem to appear.

This suggests to me that a function is connected to the super key that switches the lens view back to the home view. This bug shows that the toggling of the dash happens after the lens view has been switched to the home view.

Whereas the Esc key appears to use a different function that just hides the dash straight away rather than switching the lens view to the home view first.

Note: I don't know, as I haven't looked, how unity works internally and this is just guess work - But I hope it helps a developer to fixing this issue.

Hope that helps

Andy

Hello Michal, or anyone else affected,

Accepted unity into precise-proposed. The package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!
