Bug Description

If there is no other admin accounts in the system, it is very difficult to switch account back after changing account type to "Standard". This is because we can't "sudo" anymore. The only way to fix it is entering single user mode and editing /etc/group. I think there should be some warning at least if the user is the only administrator in the system and he tries to become "Standard" user (by accident in my case). For example, Windows systems don't let you do this in similar situation.

invalidated in hundred One Hundred Paper Cuts since it's a feature request.

Changed in hundredpapercuts:
status: New → Invalid

Another reason this would not work as a papercut, and the more important one in my mind, is that it's not a problem that the 'average user' would encounter in their day-to-day usage of Ubuntu.

What version are you using? I have implemented checks so that one cannot remove itself from the admin group if he's the last admin years ago. Could you check they don't work?

Anyway, Ubuntu doesn't use the gnome-system-tools by default anymore, so maybe you think about gnome-control-center?
