This package helps meet the ha-cloud blueprint [1].
This package also comes from a source change starting from RHCS 3.1 (which will soon hit the archives).
3. Security: No CVEs
4. QA: Both Debian and Ubuntu contain the latest version of this package. Debian has taken most Ubuntu changes. Upstream is very active ([2]). No Ubuntu bugs.
5. UI standards: none
6. Dependencies: All in main.
7. Standards:
No lintian Warnings
Package is packaged with debhelper, and has no patching system. Source format is 3.0
8. Maintenance: easy
9. Background information:
This package is a new package (starting from oneiric) that installs pieces that have been shipped in redhat-cluster (cman binary) in previous releases. However, this new package was created as part as the transition from upstream (redhat-cluster 3.1) on which they have separated various components into different packages. redhat-cluster 3.1 has not yet hit the archives, but the related files have been removed from installation from the current redhat-cluster 3.0. The new redhat-cluster will hit the archives soon.
