I'd like to get py3cairo into Debian first, see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=608540 . Thanks for the patch!

py3cairo is finally in Debian, so I updated the pygobject package to build python3-gi-cairo: http://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/pkg-gnome?view=revision&revision=34192

Subscribing ubuntu-release for a feature freeze exception. This just builds a new python3-gi-cairo package and does not change the existing binary packages at all. So this is very low risk.

  * debian/control.in, debian/rules: Build a python3-gi-cairo package, now
    that py3cairo is packaged in Debian. (LP: #879405)
