Hello Alexey, or anyone else affected,

Accepted gcalctool into oneiric-proposed, the package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

With the proposed version:

100mm2 is converted to 1cm2 --> OK

400cm2 is shown as 0,04m2 --> OK
but
40cm2 is shown as 0m2 instead of 0,004 --> is rounding to two digits expected?

the rounding is nothing this patch is changing if that's a bug it should be tracked in a different report

I just checked the sources and there's really no difference compared to the previous version other than the conversion rule update. The conversion is indeed correct so the proposed version resolves this bug.
