Bug Description
I canceled the registration process when I had to enter the verification code. When I restarted the process, I tried to register again, but since my email address was already taken, I tried to login, and since the backend failed with UserNotValidated, the UI just showed what tried to be a credentials error (see attached screenshot).

This i still an issue since we had to revert the change added by this branch (it was breaking the GTK client).
