Bug Description

1. Install Deluge (Version: 1.3.2-1) on up-to-date amd64 oneiric (I did using Software Center)
2. Start Deluge
3. Receive the following error:

We changed the packaging for Deluge recently so that deluge-gtk no longer requires libtorrent which means it can be installed as a client only.

The packaging will need fixed so that Software Centre defaults to deluge rather than the currently set, deluge-gtk. Also when installing only deluge-gtk a patch should be applied to turn off classic mode to avoid this initial error.

To solve the problem in the meantime you can install the package named "deluge" from synaptic package manager or from the command line: 'apt-get install deluge'

The problem is in the fact that the desktop file is in deluge-gtk. That is what software-center uses. It might be possible to over-ride this for deluge in the app-install-data package. Opening a task there.

Yes, this is the problem. I'll add a package override the next time we rebuild app-install-data, which should be in the next week or so.

I'm merging Johan's app-install-data-ubuntu update. As a result I don't think the deluge change is critical any more, so downgrading.
