It came out that the sound driver, in one of the latest pull, was renamed from SDP4430 to Panda but the UCM alsa files weren't updated, and thus we lost audio.

There's discussion going whether we should fix it in alsa config files or kernel, until then leave this bug open (we will use it for SRU).

alsa-lib (1.0.24.1-0ubuntu9) oneiric; urgency=low
.
  * Duplicate ucm/SDP4430 configs as ucm/Panda configs, reflecting the
fact that Pandaboard now has a non-generic card name (LP: #746023)
  * Comment out AMIC PDM Switch config from ucm/Panda/record, as that
device seems to have stopped existing in recent kernel versions.

Audio output now working in Pulse Audio. Audio input is not. High probability that alsa ucm needs more adjusting for full functionality.

No audio input on Precise (12.04) through the audio analog input.
Also in Sound Settings, at the Input Devices tab, theres nothing showing up.

Any clues what to do?
