To alias a bug in Malone, you have to click on the "Edit Bug Details", scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and enter an alias. This is completely non-obvious, and makes it seem as though this feature might as well not even exist.

I feel that the input widget to set an alias should be displayed near the bug ID itself (on the task edit page, when we land the new design we've currently almost got through to approved spec stage), to make it much easier to find.

Or we could just get rid of aliases. They seem like an unnecessary Bugzillaism.

The main reason I can think of for leaving this feature in is that it seems like the kind of feature that certain people would really like to use, just like you get those types who put vegemite in their tea (ick.)

Maybe we can revisit its usefulness after 1.0, and then reconsider whether it's really necessary or not.

This is an old bug and we have no intentions to make more of bug aliasing at this point, so I'm marking this Won't Fix.
