reproduced on Edubuntu amd64 20110619, doing a simple search for a package or let it open without using

Just open software center to install vlc player, while installation software center also says that need remove one tar package to continue installation

Just installed Ubuntu 11.10 alpha 2 and updated and it still happening while installing almost anything. The last time i was trying to install flashplayer plugin.
