Bug Description

Binary package hint: lintian

E: gmemusage_0.2-11ubuntu1_source changes: bad-ubuntu-distribution-in-changes-file oneiric

Impact: get a Lintian warning if you debuild -S an oneiric package on a maverick machine
Fix: add oneiric to the list of valid Ubuntu versions
Patch: see debdiff in sidebar
Testcase: "debuild -S" on a Maverick machine a package whose debian/changelog points to oneiric
Regression potential: none

Closing oneiric task. FWIW, I don't think it's a good usage of anyone's time to do SRUs like that. You shouldn't build/test oneiric packages on maverick anyway, and if you do, ignoring the lintian warning is merely a cosmetical issue. As such I don't think it is a bug at all.

It's not just a warning, it errors and the source package building
fails so you can't get to the "hand the source package to pbuilder"
step.

(BTW, I ran into this while trying to teach Maverick user about
packaging and the "get it into oneiric before doing the sru" step)
