Bug Description

Current trunk shows rendering artifacts in 'Gaussian blur' filter effect (see attached files).

Reported by Loadus on jabber, with these system specs:
Windows 7
  HP Z600 Workstation
  CPU: 2 x Intel Xeon E5620
  Mainboard: HP 0B54h / Intel 5520 chipset
  Memory: DDR3 16GB @ 2000MHz
  NVIDIA Quadro 4000

Reproduced on Mac OS X 10.5.8 (i386, 32bit)
  MacBookPro5,1
  CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo / 2.4 GHz
  Memory: 2 GB (2 x 1GB DDR3 @ 1067 MHz)
  NVIDIA GeForce 9400M

Affected: Inkscape 0.48+devel r10244
not reproduced with r10140,
reproduced with r10145 and later revisions

Reproduced on Windows XP, trunk revision 10258. Not reproduced with 0.48.1.
The artifact also show on exported PNGs.

Loaded on inkscape 0.48.3.1-1ubuntu1 (Ubuntu Linux 12.04 AMD64).

No artifact seen on screen.
Exported to png. No artifact.

Not relevant here: this report is about a regression with the new renderer in current trunk, not about stable release versions.

Fix confirmed with Inkscape 0.48+devel r11936 on Mac OS X 10.5.8 (32bit) and OS X 10.7.4 (64bit) using the two available test cases.
