no text/font in scigraphica

I confirm this bug, also using xubuntu 6.10, I get

Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at /var/lib/defoma/scripts/scigraphica.defoma line 100.

using sudo apt-get install scigraphica. No text is being displayed in the menus.

Hi. I receive the same errors on the post install script but I have no problems with with any text missing in the menus. Do you receive any errors in the console when starting scigraphica? I am curious if maybe you have a corrupted font somewhere. Thank you.

 Thanks for the feedback. I do not get any error messages when I start
scigraphica. Am attaching the text output when I wanted to install
scigraphica, and what happens during the post-install configuration process.
Also am attaching a snapshot of the scigraphica, devoid of any text. I do
agree it is very likely a font problem.

This bug seem to have resolved by itself. I installed scigraphica, after I install kubuntu-desktop. Then all font and text seem to have magically reappeared.

Submitter claims problem is resolved. If the problem still exists, please re-open this bug. Thank you.
