Bug Description

After updating to Ubuntu 11.04 and then downloading and installing the System76 drivers according to the website, running the driver immediately produces a message box stating that the version of the drivers is only for version 6 - 11.04 and to file this bug report.

same here on a panp8 reinstall today due to another bug and driver states unsupported.......

Hi Jacob,

The Meerkat Ion does not require additional drivers - i.e. Ubuntu supplies all the necessary drivers. This is expected. I am working on a way to better identify the system so that rather than an ugly "Unsupported" message you'll receive a "No additional drivers necessary" message.
