Bug Description

Since the no-alltray flag was removed I'm still getting the (AllTray) in the title bar of certain applications (thunderbird 3.1.10).

AllTray version 0.71b (no-alltray flag removed in 0.70 according to changelog), from the ubuntu natty (10.10) repository. Metacity & gnome.

I have made a bash script with:
#!/bin/bash
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/thunderbird-3.1.10/
alltray --sticky --skip-taskbar --show /usr/lib/thunderbird-3.1.10/thunderbird-bin

and launch with a launcher in gnome-panel (not the unity or gnome3 things) for /path/to/my/bash/script

Should read natty (11.04).

A fix is in revision 42 of lp:alltray/old-maintenance -- Ubuntu is welcome to pull it out, but I won't be making another release off that branch. Adding Ubuntu to the bug; if someone in Ubuntu wants to incorporate the patch, awesome, if not they can mark it as invalid. Thanks for the bug report!

Hello Joseph,
Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird.

You made this bug report in 2011 and there have been several versions of Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket?
Or, if it is still a problem, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 785181

and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Thank you again for helping make Ubuntu and Thunderbird better.

G
