Hello All,

kdesu --nonewdcop ubiquity kde-ui
give me this error message:

I tried upgrade ubiquity, ubiquity-fronted-kde package but after upgrade it is not working.
After that I install ubiquity-fronted-gtk package and run:
kdesu --nonewdcop ubiquity gtkui - it start the instalation but instalation is stop on

This sounds like transient breakage in python-kde3. Have you tried a more recent daily build?

This is the same problem as bug 74464. It was fixed just before Herd 1, but the fix didn't quite make it in time for (only) the amd64 build. More recent daily builds should have the fix, or if not you can upgrade the python-kde3 package on the running live CD before starting the installer.
