Bug Description

Binary package hint: powernap

If powernap has entered into a lower power state, specifically powersave mode using the tool "powernap-now" then it won't be able to take recover action in either situation, when activity is detected or when powerwake-now is executed.

This can cause that a machine stays underpowered even when it shouldn't be.

Natty is now frozen for release. The debdiff looks good, ack. I'll upload the package as a 0 day natty SRU. Thanks!

Accepted powernap into natty-proposed, the package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

Please note that the version number of the fix in Oneiric needs to supersede this one, which won't automatically happen with 'dch -i'. In the future, -proposed uploads should use the normal convention with a .# added after the ubuntu# .. so

2.6-0ubuntu1.1 would have been preferrable to 2.6-0ubuntu2

I have tested this extensively and everything works as expected by the proposed fix.

Marking verification done!
