Bug Description

Whilst looking through the Ubuntu Packaging Guide branch, I came across the diagrams in the images/ directory.

Whilst I don't think these images are bad, in fact they are quite clear and easy to read, I believe they could be made a bit more Ubuntu-y :)

By this I mean using the Ubuntu Brand Guidelines to create some diagrams which fit in with the feel of the new Ubuntu Brand.

Good idea, but is it a bit much to put the logo and the dots with every diagram?

I prefer it with the logo and the dots, as it is all part of the new visual identity so I believe they are quite important. Also having them there makes everything feel more 'official' :)

However you could remove the logo if you really wanted :)

Great work, Joseph. The colours and theming generally feels more Ubuntu-y.

Here's a few thoughts I had when looking at the diagrams: first up I feel the lines and text could be a bit thinner. Also the twisted arrows seem to make what they try to explain more of a puzzle than a logical progression through defined steps from A to B.

Does anyone else have some ideas about this?

Oh, and can you please go on the page of your branch and click on "propose for merging", so we can track the discussion there?

Thanks Daniel,

I will give it another shot and try to move some things around and also make the lines thinner. I will also look into the "propse for merging"

thanks again

Thanks Daniel I am not that good of a artist. So I did not want to work on this anymore. Plus I feel like there is no sound plain for the future with this artwork. I guess if some one could make a "mock" drawing then I could move from there. also I will be at UDS this year (passport pending) So maybe we can talk about it there ? thanks again Joseph
