Bug Description

Enhancement Request
Ver. 0.7.52
Mac OS X

I often load several books then do the metadata updates at the same time, using the previous or next function in the Edit Metadata window. The active book info section is visible to the right of the editing pop-up. However, when moving to the next or previous book, the highlighted book remains on the one that was initially selected. It would be convenient to have the active highlight book bar move with the change of books in the metadata editing.

1. This would allow the user to see the details for the active book in the main screen.
2. When exiting the editor, the active book would be one that was last edited.

Thanks.

Tony

I am currently using version 1.3. This bug (if it is a bug) is still affecting me.

Say that I select book number 10 in my Calibre library and click on 'Edit Metadata'. The edit metadata window opens.

If I click on "next" three times I will see books 11, 12, and 13 in my library.

When I am done with editing metadata, I click on "OK" and the edit metadata window closes.

At this point, the 'active' book, the one that is highlighted, changes back to book number 10, the book that was selected when I first started editing metadata.

I would prefer it if clicking on "OK" and closing the edit metadata window left the highlight on book number 13, the last book I looked at with the Edit Metadata function.
