SMB Backend Fails when printing to a Windows share

Bug Description

I installed all smb related packages and tried to install a printer on a window server 2003 server. The installation seems to go fine and I can locate and browse the Samba share, but during a test page print, the smb backend fails.

Probably wrong permissions on /var/spool/samba/. Could you check it, if still a problem?

/var/spool/samba was fixed in Debian's version 3.0.23a-1. Fix was included in Ubuntu Feisty as 3.0.23d-1ubuntu1.

The smb.conf defaults to /usr/spool/samba, which doesn't exist...

Marking as Fix Released as /var/spool/samba was fixed in Feisty, no news from reporter.
(Note to David: our smb.conf defaults to /var/spool/samba)
Feel free to reopen this bug if you still experience the issue.
