Bug Description

Running natty (installed on an external USB stick) on a Toshiba Portege M200 tablet.
Installed "free experimental 3D" "additional driver" for nvidia.
Restarted and logged in.
Desktop background and its icons appeared but no unity or panels or compiz visible.
Keyboard was unresponsive, but could exit session with ctrl-alt-bksp.

i got same bug with nouveau driver and libgl-experimental
compiz can run with gnome-classic and / or unity-2D
