Dash size becomes too small with small app font

Bug Description
I'm attaching two screenshots to tell the story. The default application font size is 11pt and I always use 8pt. However, interestingly, I might add, the size of Dash changes dynamically with application font size setting and becomes too small. So small that it cannot fully show the default icons. Thankfully, Dash for Applications and Files are now scrollable but still the window is too small to be comfortable.
I say, make the Dash size independent of font setting, or better yet, make the Dash window manually resizable (like a regular window).
