emesene crashed with ValueError in _configure(): Wrong host or port number : (, 80)

it's a bug in python-papyon.

by the way this particular error triggers when you have a broken profile
(and yes, emesene1 breaks profiles, so you shouldn't use it anymore).

In order to fix your profile just login with emesene2, Preferences -
Live Messenger and follow the instructions.

I don't have an option in preferences - live messenger to make this change, or am I missing something.

Accepted emesene into natty-proposed, the package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

I ve just upgraded emesene package and it crashed. After I login to my account via emesene, a bug report appears and it says "sorry, emesene closed unexpectedly" or sth like this, however it signs in to my account...

mkoca, have you installed the package from natty-proposed?

After testing the package from natty-proposed for a while and not experiencing this bug, I'm removing the tag "verification-needed" and adding the tag "verification-done".
