This looks like a corrupted filesystem, could you pleae run a memory test and a harddisk check?

Hi Michael,
Memory is good, but two bad sectors on hd. Having trouble repairing them
in 10.10. Awaiting answer from Ubuntu. Until then thank you! After that
I will try to reinstall and see what results.

Best regards,

Richard

Well I got all the info for my hard drive from Ubuntu....
I decided to put a clean system on a new hd. Still had problems. Tried
other backup progs (luckybackup, grsync, simple backup) and they all
worked. So I took off deja dup and went with what worked for me.

Thank you for you response, time, and the prog.

Best regards,

Richard

Anything can be accomplished as long as your not doing it yourself!
