Bug Description
At the moment notifications are unconditionally enabled.
We had quite a few bug reports for karmic versions which described that notifications were quite annoying and some of the people preferred not to have notifications from sync software at all.
I suggest that we should have a setting in ubuntuone-

To implement this in the control panel, we need a dbus method to enable/disable notifications.
