Binary package hint: yelp

It seems that search is not implemented in the reworking of yelp. I see the following in a terminal:

7:57:48 - flash:[...ents/canonical/launchpadlib] yelp
FIXME: search_activated

Not being able to search seems likely a serious regression in functionality to me.

Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.

I reproduced this in Xubuntu Natty Narwhal as follows:
yelp in the terminal opens "Desktop User Guide". Typing gedit in the search box does not do anything, but in the terminal I have "FIXME: search_activated".

Is this with yelp 2.91.90? The code in git master does indeed include an implementation of the search, so maybe you're running an older version? (sorry, can't check it myself right now, as I can't upgrade yelp because of some broken packages)
