product release finder does not provide diagnostic feedback

Bug Description

Then the product release finder does not find a tarball for an existing release at the specified URL, some diagnostic text should be displayed on the release page.

In particular if the tarball url is on http, it should explain that the tarball could not be found by traversing links starting at the first parent URL without a glob.

When looking up releases for that pattern, the product-release-finder would retrieve http://panoramicfeedback.com/opensource/ and look for links pointing to resources directly below that directory.

As none of the links on that page match "bzrtools-0.12*.tar.gz", no releases are found.

Right, my point is about the lack of feedback, so that users can
understand and debug the process themselves, rather than about the
specific case.
