Bug Description
Binary package hint: kpackagekit
I'm on Kubuntu 10.10 with all updates
1. Start KPK, go settings and then to tab "authentication" (or so, I use a german locale)
2. Click on "Import Key"
At least in the german version there is only one option to open a "PGP-File". I test with a local key file, ending with .gpg, which doesn't show up in KPK. If I rename gpg to pgp that doesn't change anything. Since some projects use key files ending with gpg this behaviour is a bit problematic.
Workaround:
1. Navigate to directory containing key and open a terminal
2. sudo apt-key add keyname.gpg
affects: | kpackagekit (Ubuntu) → software-properties (Ubuntu) |
