Bug Description

Description: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
Release: 10.04

I'm on an Acer Aspire 8942g. I installed Ubuntu alongside Windows 7 about 4 months ago. Since then I've been unable to fix this problem. When I plug in my headphones I still hear sound coming from my speakers. Here is my alsa-base.cnf file. I couldn't find any reference to the 8942g so I used 8930g instead since it's very close to the laptop I am using. Perhaps this is incorrect?
