Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

NM shouldn't add the unneeded localhost.localdomain alias to the 127.0.0.1 entry in /etc/hosts, nor should it add the equivalent localhost6.localdomain6 entry for ::1.

This goes in accordance to earlier discussion in the Debian-devel mailing list:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2005/10/msg00559.html

As well as the discussions at UDS-Natty regarding setting valid hostnames:
https://blueprints.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/packageselection-foundations-n-valid-hostname-configuration

    - add debian/patches/never-localhostlocaldomain.patch
    - update debian/patches/series
