Gary M, have you checked if this behaviour is still occurring with 2.32.2-0ubuntu2 release included in Ubuntu Maverick proposed updates?

The maverick gwibber crash regression in bug #700667 currently prevents me testing this issue.

I am on AMD64 and the latest beta of 11.10. Gwibber displays its window but no entries show. I try to change the screen using the tabs and it greys out for a few minutes before showing yet another blank window. Pressed Accounts... with the thought that it may have lost my settings and that is when this error occurred.
I used Gwibber quite successfully when it was first introduced but continuing crashes for various reasons drove me to going back to the browser, my Android or Turpial for reading Twitter.

My user automatically logs in. I am asked for my password after I log in, presumably to unlock my keyring. This crash happened to me after I failed to enter my password for at least half an hour, as I left my computer after I logged in.

Could it be that Gwibber is waiting for the password to be entered, and then timed out?
