1. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:moonlight-

Error appears:

I don't think the key warning is the actual error. I got that when I installed the package on 10.10 as well. The issue is probably that the PPA does not provide packages for Karmic. I guess Karmic does not have new enough versions of the dependencies to support Pinta.
