Bug Description

on suspend, keyboard backlights on ASUS laptops of recent vintage are not correctly powered off. They either remain on or flicker during suspend. this is apparently due to incomplete ACPI event handling for these machines.

Additionally, the fn-key combinations for controlling the light level of this backlight require handlers in order to function.

fixes for both issues can be found in http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1546748
