Bug Description

The labels of celestial objects are not displayed correctly after the last changes in the rendering engine. (See the attached screenshot.) The defects in the characters are not constant - when the scene is moved around, they change, making the labels "float".

The changes are not new, but I was waiting for the developers' mailing list to show greater signs of life.

I'm pretty sure that this is somehow related to the graphics card (a GeForce FX5500), as the problem can be reproduced both in Windows and Linux.

According to the log,
> OpenGL supported version: "2.1.2 NVIDIA 173.14.22"
if this is any help.

I have the same issue with intel 965 express chipset, The issue is with the quality of characters. The improvement is that Arabic characters are now displayed correctly but they have the same quality issue as in English.

This bug was probably introduced by the new way to render fonts in StelPainter::drawText. You could try to play with the offsets..
