Bug Description

When booting from the live-cd for Ubuntu 6.10 Desktop i386, built on 20061016, I first get the usual screen to start or install Ubuntu. Then, while waiting for the graphical interface to load, I get the following message on the terminal (white letters on a black background):

  * Activating swap
    mount: function not implemented

rm -f /root/etc/rcS.d/S10checkroot.sh

it's S20checkroot.sh now

AFAIK error message "mount: function not implemented" at least sometimes is displayed on Dapper (6.06) too.
