Bug Description
Currently desktop integration is an all-or-nothing phenomenon--it lasts until it's revoked. We need a way to integrate a desktop into a Launchpad account for a trial period.

Triaging as low (leaning towards wishlist) unless/until someone on the desktop side of things has requested this. It does sound reasonable, but that's the kind of thing I wish someone with desktop experience would do.
