Bug Description
As soon as "Your instance has now started, and you have approximately this time remaining: " I want to start using the system. It might be better to change this string to:
Your instance has been created, and is now booting. Once SSH fingerprints are available, you can start using the system. Time remaining for this trial:
or something like that. "has now started" != ready to use, and that may be confusing.

I just committed a fix, r212, for this.
Rather than changing the text, I changed the condition on which the "your instance has started" text is printed. The logic now tests that the public key is available before telling you the instance is running. This should avoid the situation where the user tries to ssh before ssh is up and has the public key.
