I'll work around this, but there should be upgrades available for the third-party iscan package, and you should find and install a newer version.

This bug was fixed in the package initramfs-tools - 0.98.1ubuntu6

  * Apparently the iscan hook is sometimes called iscan-data, so ignore
    errors from that too (LP: #654856).
